Ryan Alonzo is a professional photographer and author who has been capturing stunning images since 2009. Ryan's love for photography started early, but it was his childhood trips to Yosemite that sparked his passion for capturing the beauty of the outdoors. At the age of 18, Ryan moved to Yosemite to work a seasonal job, and he never left the Sierra. He has lived and worked in Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows for 18 seasons, during which he has honed his skills and captured breathtaking images of the park for the Yosemite Conservancy.

Ryan's love for the outdoors extends far beyond Yosemite. He has traveled to 45 countries ( and counting) and has experienced the natural beauty of some of the world's most incredible landscapes. He enjoys camping, hiking, surfing, biking, fly fishing, rock climbing, snowboarding, and anything else that takes him outside. Ryan has even written two books about Yosemite, showcasing his passion for the park and his talent for photography.

Today, Ryan resides in Mammoth Lakes, California, with his wife Melissa, their daughter Violet, and their doggo Hazel.

He continues to explore his home range and capture stunning images of the natural world, sharing his passion and talent with others through his photography and writing. Ryan is currently working on his 3rd book about Yosemite, focusing on the High County of the park.
